Kristi Burdick, DNP, FNP-BC, APNP is a highly experienced Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in addiction medicine and behavioral health. With over two decades of diverse clinical experience, she has cared for patients in settings including inpatient withdrawal management at LE Phillips Treatment Center, addiction medicine at Prevea Health, family practice, emergency care, student health, and correctional health. Kristi holds a BSN and MSN from Northern Michigan University and earned her DNP from Oakland University.

She has taught undergraduate and doctoral nursing students at Northern Michigan University and the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, contributing to multiple research initiatives, national presentations, and published work on addiction care and nursing education. Kristi is also a Mental Health First Aid instructor and serves on the WI Voices for Recovery Advisory Committee. She is known for her compassionate, evidence-based care and commitment to patient-centered approaches.

Outside of her professional work, Kristi enjoys spending time with friends, family, and animals. She is passionate about fitness, especially running, and loves cooking and promoting health and wellness in everyday life.

Zach Couture, DNP, FNP-BC, APNP is a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with a focus on addiction medicine and primary care. His clinical background includes nearly a decade at L.E. Phillips–Libertas Treatment Center, where he served as charge nurse for a 22-bed inpatient and 16-bed residential detox center, and at Mayo Clinic Health System in Bloomer, WI, where he currently provides inpatient and transitional care at a critical access hospital.

Zach earned his BS in Biology and completed his DNP at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He also holds an ADN from Chippewa Valley Technical College and a BSN from Western Governors University. Known for his leadership, policy development, and clinical training skills, Zach has mentored dozens of students and colleagues and implemented improvements in admission procedures and patient education systems.

Outside of clinical work, Zach enjoys staying active, cooking for family and friends, serving his church through music, and connecting with his community. He values compassion, teamwork, and empowering patients in their recovery journey.
